A buttock augmentation improves the shape and volume of your buttocks.
There are two ways to perform a buttock augmentation: using your own fat or using implants. In a Brazilian Butt Lift, fat tissue is removed from areas such as the abdomen or hips via liposuction, and then injected into the buttocks.
If there is not enough body fat available, a buttock augmentation can only be achieved using implants. The surgeon then makes an incision of about five centimeters between the buttocks and places the implant under the fat tissue or under the gluteal muscle.
Discuss with your plastic surgeon which method is best for you.
